The Driveway Gates We Install
Swing Gates
Traditional single or twin-leaf gates that open inwards or outwards. Best where there is room for the leaf to swing clear and the ground is reasonably level.
Sliding & Cantilever Gates
A single leaf that slides across the opening. The right choice for sloping driveways, short run-backs or wider entrances where a swing gate would foul the fall.
Automated Gates
Manual gates fitted with motors, safety edges and access control. We commission powered gates to the relevant safety standard, including a force-test.
Access control options include:
- Intercoms for visitor entry from inside the house.
- Keypads for code access at the gate.
- Remotes for opening from your car.

How It Works
1. Site Survey
We measure the opening, check the levels and fall, and look at how you want to use the gate. On a sloping or tight site we will recommend sliding over swing.
2. Design & Quote
You get a detailed quote covering the gate design, metal, finish, any automation, and the timeline. We agree the design before fabrication.
3. Fabrication & Finishing
The gate is fabricated to your opening, then galvanised and powder-coated for the coast.
4. Installation & Commissioning
We install the posts and gate, fit and commission any automation, and check it over with you.

Common mistake: hanging a heavy twin-leaf swing gate on a sloping driveway, so it drops and drags within months. What we do: we survey the fall first and use sliding or cantilever where the ground demands it.
Automation without a force-test
Common mistake: automating a gate without safety edges or a force-test, leaving a powered gate that can injure. What we do: we commission powered gates to the relevant safety standard.
Powder-coat on bare steel
Common mistake: powder-coating bare steel near the sea, so the finish lifts and the gate rusts underneath. What we do: we galvanise first, then powder-coat, for a finish built for salt air.
